" We're not trying to do "School at Home." We're trying to do homeschool. These are two entirely different propositions. We're not trying to replicate the time, style or content of the classroom. Rather we're trying to cultivate a lifestyle of learning in which learning takes place from morning until bedtime 7 days each week. The "formal" portion of each teaching day is just the tip of the iceburg. "

Lisa, the boys were geo-caching. They were examining the contents of the cache to see what had been left and then to decide what they were going to trade for. It was a lot of fun!
It's Underdog! Where was he when I needed him this week? LOL Great pic, Lisa. That made me smile. I needed that. Thanks so much for the prayers also. Needed those also. Have a blessed day!
We live... in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest.... Im 42 years young and I have homeschooled my peeps for 18 years now! 2 grown and on their own, and one just got married!!! I created this blog to share our lives and home school journey and maybe just a bit of therapy for me! I desire a Koinonia relationship with my family and friends. Here you will find an imperfect woman striving to live, love and learn all she can at being a woman, wife, mom and friend.
Isaiah 43:16; 18-19This is what the LORD says--he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters.... "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
