" We're not trying to do "School at Home." We're trying to do homeschool. These are two entirely different propositions. We're not trying to replicate the time, style or content of the classroom. Rather we're trying to cultivate a lifestyle of learning in which learning takes place from morning until bedtime 7 days each week. The "formal" portion of each teaching day is just the tip of the iceburg. "
Happy New Year!! That is hilarious! I'm with Jennefer...was that intentional? No matter, I love it! Happy WW, Brittney PS very nice new pic on your profile.
This one was intentional... but the first one, my daughter took and it was an accident... and not centered all the way... we HAD to do it again.... he is so tall... it was perfect! lol
Shawn is a big guy… big as in tall.. he’s really a toothpick! Lol so skinny…
Class starts up on Monday... 2 more quarters and my boy graduates!!! Sniff... I can’t believe how fast the years have gone by... its been 13, but feels like a few...sigh... Good thing he has been going to CC, because it has really helped me transition and let go a bit more when I didn’t really want to...
I printed out his WHO graduation forms not to long ago…. Hes going to do the walk for me.
We live... in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest.... Im 42 years young and I have homeschooled my peeps for 18 years now! 2 grown and on their own, and one just got married!!! I created this blog to share our lives and home school journey and maybe just a bit of therapy for me! I desire a Koinonia relationship with my family and friends. Here you will find an imperfect woman striving to live, love and learn all she can at being a woman, wife, mom and friend.
Isaiah 43:16; 18-19This is what the LORD says--he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters.... "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

Ha ha ha ha! Love it! I have one like that too somewhere in my collection. Hmmmmmm. Will have to find it for a future WW, inspired by you, of course.
Great WW!!! I love it!
Thanks for the reminder this morning. I *did* almost forget. I can count on you and Susan to keep me on my toes.

I thought I left a comment yesterday too. I must have messed up the letters and didn't realize it either. Oh are we two peas in a pod! :o)
I had funny comment, but can't remember it... So maybe it wasn't that funny after all. :o)
That is a great picture of Shawn. I can't believe how big he has gotten and what a handsome young many he is.
Blessings to you and your family!
