Menu Plan Monday


I have missed a few weeks of Menu plan Monday. Last week being our first week back, I should have been on the ball. Life had other plans for me though. This week, I am happy to join back in! The kids will eat mostly what is on this menu. They will also have things I cant right now, but they will have to do that on their own! *Ü*




Monday:



  1. Breakfast- 2 (four-inch) whole grain pancakes, berry smoothie (black berry and mango) with flax. The kids eat more than I, but I will have 2 pk.

  2. Lunch- Taco Salad

  3. Grilled Salmon, asparagus and basmati rice. I will limit myself to 4.oz of salmon and 1 cup of rice, and 5 spears.

Tuesday:



  1. Breakfast- Oatmeal w/ flax, 1 banana and a hard boiled egg.

  2. Lunch- Chicken broth for mom and a small vegi filled salad. Grilled cheese and soup for girls.

  3. Dinner- BBQ Chicken, light bbq sauce. Mixed veggies and cubed little red potatoes baked.

Wednesday:



  1. Breakfast- Oatmeal w/ flax and muffins made from bob red mills hot cereal.

  2. Lunch- Tuna salad loaded w/ veggies.

  3. Dinner- Fish tacos made with halibut. Avocado and bean salsa. Little red potatoes

Thursday:



  1. Breakfast- Scrambled eggs and berry smoothies w/flax.

  2. Lunch- Baked chicken, grapes, and cheese.

  3. Left overs

Friday:



  1. Breakfast- whole grain pancakes, fruit and cheese.

  2. Lunch-Broth and veggies for mom, PBJ and fruit for girls

  3. Dinner- Baked Chicken, mixed veggies, rice and salad. some type of bread

Ok I SO need to menu plan more. Especiialy this week as we have revival every night. And just wondering,, did you get up early today? ;O)

sisterlisa... it honestly helps me to see and not have to think to hard about it! *Ü* When I have to think to hard... I do what’s easy and not always healthy!

Getting up early... no I did not... I woke w/ a splitting headache... one I had been fighting all day yesterday... I woke at my regular time... 6:00 and slid out at about 6:20. :(

I wouldn’t mind you or anyone else who regulars my blog to help keep me accountable to this though! It keeps me honest sister!
