" We're not trying to do "School at Home." We're trying to do homeschool. These are two entirely different propositions. We're not trying to replicate the time, style or content of the classroom. Rather we're trying to cultivate a lifestyle of learning in which learning takes place from morning until bedtime 7 days each week. The "formal" portion of each teaching day is just the tip of the iceburg. "
Isn’t it the greatest! Super dog! Christina and Ry at play *Ü* The dog was actually jumping up to catch the light from a flash light Ry was shining on the ceiling! LOL
Goofy dog....
The blanket was from snuggling with Ry in front of the pellet stove during reading time..... the girls decided to tuck it under the collar since it was "already" on her....
Lee....we are reading the Seaman books out loud together.... I just had too... mostly for Ry... but I remember it being read to me in 6th grade..... I loved it... but couldn’t remember what one! lol
I will let you know the one we like best when we are done. *Ü*
On a side note.... I have been learning about many... many discrepancies and or disagreements 'people' have about the dogs name, the age of Sacagawea, and how to pronounce her name. This has been an interesting week!
Love the action shots of your dog!!! We are big dog lovers here...cats too. Our Chloe reminds me of your pup. She's our 9 1/2 year old yellow lab and has always been the greatest dog around our girls. They frequently dress her up as well! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my goodness, I just busted out laughing! I can't wait to show my children these pictures in the morning, they are huge fans of Krypto the Superdog. Too funny.
We live... in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest.... Im 42 years young and I have homeschooled my peeps for 18 years now! 2 grown and on their own, and one just got married!!! I created this blog to share our lives and home school journey and maybe just a bit of therapy for me! I desire a Koinonia relationship with my family and friends. Here you will find an imperfect woman striving to live, love and learn all she can at being a woman, wife, mom and friend.
Isaiah 43:16; 18-19This is what the LORD says--he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters.... "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."
