Everything looks delicious! Do you ever use ground flax seed? I enjoy that on yogurt!
Lee...not really doing a good job cooking or planning lately :)

Oh I forgot.... Do not look at the price. Costo sells it for cheap. I bought a 4 pack bundle for under $17.00 6 to a pack.

Great job on the menu! How many calories a day is that?

:)

Hi Susie! I am keeping myself between 1200 and 1500 calories. If I exercise 3 times a week for min 30 min I allow myself up to 1500. I’m not eating any breads or pasta right now no refined sugar... nope.... trying to stay away from that right now too. I will allow a bit of date sugar though.

I am very surprised this diet around.... I’m not miserable, or starving. Normally when I eat, I’m not hungry but bored. I have been making myself stay busy... and like Jennifer mentioned to me in a post... I have more energy when I exercise.... I really do!
My family is not on a die with a T so they still eat what and as much as they want… but I have not been buying what they want… but what is good for us. I make 3 meals a day, the girls have been helping and no one has complained! Yeah academy!
The menu this week has been very easy so far…. But I realized today is a busy day, so we won’t have the Wed dinner menu, but spaghetti. I will have spaghetti squash instead of pasta. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

1200 to 1500 cals may be a bit low, depending on your weight and activity level. I know you're pretty busy. :) I'm not a nutritionist, but I'd also recommend getting protein at every meal. It helps to build muscle and more muscle burns fat.

Eating healthy is great. Your kids will thank you later on. :)

Mmmmmm...your menu plan looks awesome! Congrats on sticking to your diet -- that is such an accomplishment. Doesn't it feel good!?

I make my own breakfast menu and use Saving Dinner Low Carb for our dinner menu. I haven't tackled lunch yet.
The planning actually makes me feel more free! Not having to think about what we will eat creates more free time and a sense of peace for me. Hope your kids like it!

Tami, a few years ago I used something like that.... menu mailer. This week has gone very well. The plan has given me a sense of freedom! Great way to put it! I think we will try a few of what was on your menu. Not for me yet, but the kids. They do not stick to it as strictly as I do. :) Thanks for the encouragement! What a Blessing to have so many cheering me on!
Happy Thanksgiving Tami... and everyone!
