" We're not trying to do "School at Home." We're trying to do homeschool. These are two entirely different propositions. We're not trying to replicate the time, style or content of the classroom. Rather we're trying to cultivate a lifestyle of learning in which learning takes place from morning until bedtime 7 days each week. The "formal" portion of each teaching day is just the tip of the iceburg. "
I am so jealous! I have seen snow (if you can call it that) once in the 10 years we have lived here. It snowed 2 years ago on Christmas Eve - 1/8 inch but excited as we all were you'd have thought it was a blizzard.
Hi Kerri. The lap book is pre school age... just so you know. Its very basic... but I laminated some of it and it will last my 3 year old nephew a long time. *Ü* Here is the link...
Robin! it is good to hear from you... I know its been a little bit since I have visited you myself!
Thank you so much for the compliment....and thank you for leaving me your information! I lost it and forgot to keep your blog address. I’m so thrilled you stopped by...
What a blast! I miss the snow! I lived in WA for 5 years but not where it snowed though. Liked being able to go to the mountain anytime I wanted to be in it. It's going to be in the 70's in TN this weekend. Also glad to hear your road is getting fixed! WW rocks! Brittney
We live... in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest.... Im 42 years young and I have homeschooled my peeps for 18 years now! 2 grown and on their own, and one just got married!!! I created this blog to share our lives and home school journey and maybe just a bit of therapy for me! I desire a Koinonia relationship with my family and friends. Here you will find an imperfect woman striving to live, love and learn all she can at being a woman, wife, mom and friend.
Isaiah 43:16; 18-19This is what the LORD says--he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters.... "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

I love the picture. My boys ate snow all this past week! You'd think I didn't feed them for all the snow they eat.
Lisa,
I got the link :) Thanks very much. I think Turtle Toes might enjoy doing something like this.
